QUALIFICATION: 
Education: 3 years at technical schools in "Information Technology", "Electronics", "Technical Computer Science" or 5 years at higher technical institutions for "Computer Science", "Electronics", "Technical Computer Science" 
Subjects - Computer Science: Network Systems & Cyber Security / Software Engineering / Cloud Computing / System Planning / Project Management / Business Administration / Accounting
Additional qualification: SAP or Cisco (school-dependent)
Practical experience: School-owned workshops as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 
Educational option:
IT Network Technician -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences 

Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist in Application Development or System Integration) or comparable qualification - relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are advantageous

ACTIVITIES:
* Installation, configuration, maintenance and optimization of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points) and infrastructure
* Network monitoring, error analysis, troubleshooting, and fault resolution
* Participation in the planning, implementation, and migration of network solutions (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WN)
* Performing security checks, patch management, and regular backups/redundancy measures
* Participation in the documentation of network topologies, changes, and incident reports
* Collaboration with IT teams, system administrators, security, and external providers
* Supporting performance optimization, monitoring, and remote monitoring projects
* Compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
