QUALIFICATION:
Education: Bachelor´s or Master´s programs at Universities or Universities of Applied Sciences, e. g. in the fields of “Computer Science”, “Media Informatics”, “Information Design” or “Information Engineering”, but also a Doctoral program can be completed
Bachelor´s program – Information Engineering – key curriculum topics:
Architecture & Web Usability / IT Security / Information Management / Information Visualization / Machine Learning / Human-Machine Communication / Mobile Computing / Modelling / Software Engineering / Visual Computing / Knowledge Presentation
Master´s program – Competences in the respective subject area are further deepened and expanded – specialization in a specific area is possible as part of a further study program
Completed degree in UX/UI / HCI / Computer Science / Psychology, or a comparable qualification
ACTIVITIES:
* Design, conducting and evaluation of user tests, interviews, and field studies
* Creation of personas, scenarios, user journeys, and wireframes
* Development and evaluation of prototypes (low- and high-fidelity) to validate design decisions
* Collaboration with product ownership, product design, development, and QA to implement UX features
* Creation of usability criteria, checklists, and heuristic evaluations (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group)
* Support in design systems, pattern libraries, and accessibility (WCAG) implementation
* Documentation of findings, creation of reports and presentations for stakeholders
* Continuous optimization of usability through A/B testing, analytics (e.g., conversion paths), and KPI tracking
* Mentoring junior UX/UI designers and fostering a user-centric culture
