QUALIFICATION:
Education: 5 years at higher technical institutions in the fields of “Environmental Technology” or “Chemistry”
Key curriculum topics:
Chemistry / Analytics / Microbiology / Process & Energy Engineering / Environmental Technology / Environmental Analytics / Quality Management

Completed technical or commercial training with a focus on Environmental Technology / Waste Management / Chemistry / Technical Environmental Protection or a comparable qualification – alternatively, a degree in Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering is preferred

ACTIVITIES:
* Planning, monitoring, and optimization of waste and residual material flows in accordance with legal and internal requirements
* Classification, collection, transport and documentation of waste (hazardous and non-hazardous waste)
* Managing disposal and recycling processes, including collaboration with external service providers
* Monitoring of emissions, waste balances, key performance indicators, and reporting (KPIs)
* Ensuring the correct storage, labelling, and warehouse management of waste products
* Participation in the development and implementation of waste prevention and recycling concepts
* Implementation of hazardous materials management, safety and environmental standards as well as evaluative & protective measures
* Training of employees in waste and environmental management
* Conducting documentation, audits, reporting to authorities, and certifications (e.g., environmental management systems)
