Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
Education: 3 years at technical schools or 5 years at higher technical institutions in "Mechatronics", "Electrical Engineering" and "Mechanical Engineering & Plant Technology"
Subjects: Energy Systems / Production Technology / Drive Technology / Information Technology / Mechatronics / Automation Technology / Industrial Electronics, Computer-aided Project Development
Further knowledge: Robotics / CAD (Computer-aided Design) / PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) 
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 
Educational option:
Automation Technician -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences 

Completed degree in Automation Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or a comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES: 
* Planning, implementation, and optimization of automation projects (PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics) 
* Development of automation concepts, circuit and visualization solutions 
* Commissioning, testing, validation, and acceptance of systems
* Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement
* Creation of documentation, parts lists, and maintenance plans 
* Collaboration with electricians, mechatronics engineers, software developers, and the operations team 
* Participation in project meetings, risk analyses, and change management
