QUALIFICATION:
Education: Successfully completed degree at University / University of Applied Sciences in field of “Environmental Engineering” or specifically the Master´s program of “Cultural Engineering & Water Management” at the University of Natural Resources & Life Sciences in Vienna 
Key curriculum topics:
Hydrology / Basin Management / Water Supply & Wastewater Disposal / Hydrobiology / Aquatic Ecology / Geotechnics / Resource-oriented Construction / Geo Data & Land Management

Completed studies in Environmental/Water Resources Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Environmental Technology or comparable qualification – alternatively, vocational training with relevant additional qualifications

ACTIVITIES:
* Planning, operating and monitoring water-related processes and systems (water treatment, purification, distribution, wastewater) in accordance with specifications
* Ensuring compliance with water quality standards, environmental and occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and permits
* Monitoring of measurement and control technology; carrying out treatment and purification processes
* Carrying out maintenance, inspection, and repair of water-related systems (pumps, filters, dosing systems, pipelines)
* Collection of data, logging, and preparing reports on water quality, consumption, waste, and optimization potential
* Analysis of faults, root cause analysis, and implementation of immediate and long-term measures
* Collaboration with Production, Technology, Environmental Management, Purchasing and authorities
* Advising on water costs, consumption, savings potential, and sustainability measures
